Arrivé l'été dernier en provenance de Nationale 1 pour intégrer le projet du club, Valentin Vitale-Boiteux quitte Aix Maurienne Savoie Basket.
Ce recrutement était un pari, celui de faire confiance à un joueur issu de l'échelon inférieur et ce pari a été pleinement réussi. Valentin a su franchir le cap, s’imposant rapidement comme un joueur majeur du collectif savoyard.
Suite au départ de Donovan Donaldson en cours de saison, c'est tout naturellement que Valentin a glissé dans le cinq majeur. Joueur d'impact, il a conquis le cœur du public par sa rapidité. Sa capacité à peser sur les rencontres, match après match, en a fait bien plus qu'un simple titulaire.
